About us
Down-to-earth IT people who happen to know accountancy
We're not typical 'IT geeks' who hide behind jargon. We're local North Wales people who are genuinely good at IT, and who've chosen to specialise in one profession: yours.
Our story
Cadarn IT exists because accountancy practices kept asking the same thing: "why doesn't our IT company actually understand how we work?"
We're a venture of Birchall Reality Ltd, an established North Wales IT support business based in Ruthin. Over 11 years of looking after local firms, one pattern stood out: practices that handle sensitive client data, answer to professional bodies, and live or die by the January deadline have very specific needs, and they're badly served by generalist IT support.
So we built something focused. Same trusted local team, same down-to-earth approach, but aimed squarely at accountancy practices, bookkeepers and tax advisers across North Wales.

What we stand for
Plain English, always
We explain things the way we'd want them explained to us, no jargon, no talking down, no gatekeeping. If you don't understand it, we haven't done our job.
Honest before profitable
If something won't help your practice, we'll tell you. Trust is worth more than a quick sale, especially in a profession where reputation travels fast.
Local and reachable
We're North Wales people. You get a real person who knows your practice, not a ticket number in a call centre three counties away.
Quietly thorough
The best IT is the kind you never have to think about. We do the unglamorous, careful work that keeps client data safe and the practice running.
