Managed IT support for accountancy practices
Friendly, proactive IT support on one predictable per-user price, so your team can get on with client work instead of fighting their computers.
When your IT just works, you barely think about it. That's the goal. We look after the unglamorous, essential things, the helpdesk calls, the updates, the security, the backups, the slow days before a deadline, so a practice partner never has to become an accidental IT manager.
Because we work almost exclusively with accountancy practices, there's no learning curve on your time. We already understand how a firm running IRIS, CCH, Sage or TaxCalc alongside Xero, QuickBooks and HMRC agent services actually behaves day to day, and what tends to go wrong when it matters most.
What managed support includes
Unlimited helpdesk
Quick, friendly help by phone or email whenever something's not working, from a frozen tax return to a new starter's laptop.
Proactive monitoring
We watch your systems in the background and fix many issues before you even notice them, rather than waiting for things to break.
Business-grade security
Bitdefender antivirus and firewall, patching and multi-factor authentication, kept current quietly, without nagging your staff.
Email security
Proofpoint filtering stops spam, phishing and dodgy attachments before they land, with the authentication that makes you harder to impersonate.
Microsoft 365 management
Email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive set up and looked after, with the right access controls for confidential client data.
Microsoft 365 backup
A separate daily Acronis Cyber Cloud backup of every mailbox, OneDrive and SharePoint, so a deletion, mistake or ransomware never loses your cloud data.
New starters & leavers
Onboarding and offboarding handled properly, important when someone with access to client records joins or leaves.
Printers & secure scanning
Printer and multifunction device support, with scan-to-365 set up securely, so the confidential paperwork a practice scans all day is handled properly.
A real person who knows you
Consistent support from people who understand your practice, not a faceless ticket queue that needs everything re-explained.
One predictable price, per user
Accountants like numbers that add up, so we keep pricing simple: a fixed amount per user, per month, with no surprise bills. As your practice grows, your IT cost grows in step, and you always know what you're paying for.
No mystery "we'll have a look and let you know" invoices. If a project falls outside day-to-day support, a cloud migration, say, we'll quote it clearly in advance.
Need new laptops, a server or network kit? We source and configure your hardware at fair, transparent cost, set up to a consistent standard, so procurement is one less thing for a partner to chase.

- 1

We take over the day-to-day

Based in Ruthin, supporting practices right across North Wales.
Support that respects your busy season
For a practice, downtime in January isn't an inconvenience, it's lost filings, stressed staff and unhappy clients. Good managed support is really about preventing that: tested backups and disaster recovery, hardened cyber security, and systems that are ready for the load before the deadline arrives, not patched up afterwards.
If you're still tied to an ageing on-premise server, we can also help you move to the cloud with our cloud migration service, so remote and hybrid working becomes secure and simple.
Questions practices ask us
How quickly do you respond when something breaks?
Most day-to-day issues are picked up within minutes and resolved remotely the same working day. We agree clear response targets up front, and we prioritise anything that stops fee-earners working, especially during the January and July peaks.
Do you support our practice software, or just the computers?
Both. We support the devices, network, email and Microsoft 365, and we're the people who liaise with IRIS, CCH, Sage, TaxCalc or your cloud bookkeeping vendor when something needs hosting, updating or troubleshooting. You get one number to call.
How does the per-user price work?
You pay a simple, fixed amount per user, per month. That covers proactive maintenance, security, Microsoft 365 backup and unlimited helpdesk support, so your IT cost is predictable and scales cleanly as you take on staff. See our pricing page for the full list of what's included.
Can you work alongside our existing setup?
Yes. We'll start with a Health Check to understand what you've got, then take over the day-to-day support and quietly fix the risky bits, no rip-and-replace unless something genuinely needs it.
